摘要
从小波包多载波调制(WPT-MCM)系统的结构出发,给出了小波包多载波调制峰均功率比(PAPR)的定义.借助仿真工具,分析了子载波路数对小波包多载波调制峰均功率比的影响,比较了小波包多载波调制和正交频分复用(OFDM)两种系统的峰均功率比特性.提出了基于SLM技术降低小波包多载波调制峰均功率比的方法,给出了仿真结果.结果表明,子载波路数的增多使小波包多载波调制的峰均功率比增大,基于SLM技术降低小波包多载波调制峰均功率比是非常有效的.
The definition of the peak-to-average power ratio(PAPR) in wavelet packet transform:based multi- carrier modulation(WPT-MCM) is given according to the structure of the WPT-MCM system. The effect of the number of subcarrier on the PAPR is analyzed, the properties Of PAPR in WPT-MCM system and in orthogonal frequency-divlsion multiplexing(OFDM) system are compared by simulations. A method based on selected mapping(SLM) technique is then proposed to reduce the PAPR in WPT-MCM system. The results show that the increase of the number of subcarrier leads to the increase of the PAPR, and the method based on SLM technique can decrease the PAPR in WPT-MCM system effectively.
