摘要
本文通过考察唐代的质子制度,探讨质子在民族文化交流中所扮演的特殊角色和发挥的独特作用:一是质子在唐顶班值勤,见习唐礼,受唐朝文化的熏陶;二是质子在促进唐与周边诸族的文化交流中具有种种优势;三是有些质子以“宿卫生”的身份入唐,其目的就是为了学习唐朝的先进文化。
The writer explores how the hostage played such an important role in national cultural communication through investigating the hostage system in the Tang Dynasty. Firstly , the hostage heeded to work on duty, learned the Tang Courtesy on probation and were effected by the culture of the Tang Dynasty; secondly, the hostage had the advantage of promoting cultural communication with multinational area; thirdly, some hostage came to the China as guards. They wanted to learn advanced culture of the Tang Dynasty.
