摘要
文化制约经济的发展有三个层面：价值取向、思维方式、模式选择。在中国，亚当·斯密的＂经济人＂概念，应该被利己与合群融为一体的＂经济文化人＂的新概念所取代。中国现代化模式既有别于欧美模式，也有别于东亚模式。按照＂双向整合＂的思路，具体对象具体分析，探索出一条现代中华新文化之路。
This article tries to explain three layers of implications of culture(i. e. value orientation,mode of thinking, cultural pattern selection), which may restrict the development of economy. The concept of 'Economic Man)ladvanced by Adam Smith should be replaced by the new concept of 'Economic Culture Man)lwlth implications of combining egoism with gregariousness. The modernization pattern of China is distinct from the one of Euramerica and East Asia. A new modern cultural road should be opened up to follow the progress of material civilization and spiritual civilization in the light of the national conditions of China.
