摘要
在构建社会主义和谐社会的过程中,民主既是一个基本目标,又是实现其它目标的基础和重要手段,是贯穿社会主义和谐社会的一项基本内容。社会主义和谐社会的每个目标、每项内容、每个环节无不渗透着民主因素,民主是构建社会主义和谐社会的政治保障,没有民主就没有社会主义和谐社会,离开了民主这个基石,社会主义和谐社会的大厦就不可能建立起来。
In the process of forming socialist harmonious society, democracy is both basic aim and base and the important means for reaching other aims. It is a basic content covering all of the socialist harmonious society. Democratic essences penetrate inside every aim, every content and every key link of the socialist harmonious society. Democracy is the political guarantees for forming socialist harmonious society. Without democracy, there would be no socialist harmonious society and without the cornerstone of the democracy, the building of the socialist harmonious society could never been completed.
