摘要
依据金属Al的特性及其与B4C相互作用的关系,在理论上分析Al对B4C的润湿性,分析理论润湿性与实际润湿性差异的原因,在此基础上,通过实验寻求改善Al对B4C润湿性的方法和工艺,发现升高温度可以改善润湿性,温度由1050℃升至1100℃时,润湿角θ由52°降至23°;在Al中添加小量Mg后,真空1×10~Pa,温度1100℃×3h时Al对B4C润湿角由原来的23°降至9°。
This paper theoretically analyzes the wettability of boron carbide by liquid aluminum and discusses the wettability difference between theoretical and practical results based on the characteristics of aluminum and its interaction with boron carbide. Then, it makes a study of the methods and processing to improve wetting through experiments, whose results show that increasing the temperature might improve the wetting. With the temperature increased form 1 050 ℃ to 1 100 ℃, the contact angle θ will decease from 52° to 23°. With a little amount of magnesium added into aluminum, θ may decrease from 23° to 9°under the condition of vacuum of 1 × 10^-3 Pa, at 1 100 ℃ x3 h.
