Effects of storage temperature and time on measurement of urinary albumin excretion in patients with diabetes mellitus

摘要 研究了不同保存时间和温度对糖尿病患者尿白蛋白排出率测定的影响。41例糖尿病患者12小时尿样本分别储存于室温、4℃、-20℃的条件下,于当天、14、30、60天测定尿白蛋白的含量。结果显示在4℃储存时,尿白蛋白浓度在60天时无明显改变。室温下储存60天时有轻度的降低。-20℃储存一个月后有明显下降,9例(39.1%)患者UAE从20~200μg/min降至正常范围,而4℃条件下只有3例(13.1%)(P<0.01)。因此,尿白蛋白放免检测标本宜在4℃条件下保存,而不应放在低温下冷冻储存。 The influence of storage temperature and time on urinary albumin assay was studied in 41 diabetic patients.The urine specimens were stored at room temperature,4℃ and -20℃,and urinary albumin was measured with radioimmunoassay at 0、7、14、30、60 davs.The results showed that urinary albumin stored at 4℃ was not significantly affected and decreased slightly after 60 days at room temperature,After frozen at -20℃ for 30 days,urinary albumin was significantly decreased in 9 of 23 cases(39.1%)with microalbuminuria it reduced to normal range at them,but only 3 cases(13.1%)reduced at 4℃(P<0.01).In conclusion:samples for urinary albumin assay should be stored at 4℃ and should not be stored at frozen temperature.
