摘要
基于Winsock网络通信函数和MPI并行通信函数,采用Visual Basic和Visual Fortran混合编程的方法,编写了一套针对Beowulf并行系统的管理软件.该管理软件可在任意一台节点机上,完成整个并行系统中各个节点机的状态检测、文件远程拷贝、内存驻留进程查询、速度测试、远程关机、重新启动和注销等操作.该管理软件已成功运行于一套由16台微机组成的Beowulf并行系统上,大幅度地简化了该系统的操作,提高了管理效率.
A management software for Beowulf systems, which makes use of Windows Sockets （Winsock） library and MPI （Message Passing Interface） parallel library and is written in Visual Basic in conjunction with Visual Fortran, is introduced. The software allows a user to easily operate the parallel system from one computer, such as checking the status of computers, remotely copying files, checking the threads existing in the memory of computers, measuring the calculation speed of computers, shutting down or restarting anyone or all computers. This software already has been run on a Bepwulf system composed of 16 PCs, and simplified its parallel operations and increased its management efficiency.
