摘要 MPEG-4是现阶段最重要最有影响的多媒体数据压缩编码国际标准。介绍了MPEG-4中常用的运动估计算法,重点介绍了一种基于光流场算法的运动估计方法,并在理论上进行了详尽地推导,通过用光流场对运动图像的速度场进行近似估计,较好地去除了图像相邻帧之间的时间相关性,而且具有较快的处理速。模拟试验也证实了该方法的可行性、有效性。 MPEG - 4 is a most important international standard for multimedia data compression coding nowadays. The paper describes the topic motion estimation algorithms in MPEG - 4, focusing on a motion estimation method based on optical flow field algorithm, and provides detailed theoretical derivation. Through performing approximate evaluation for velocity field of motion images by optical flow field, the time correlation between adjacent frames is rather removed and the fast processing speed is achieved. In addition, the simulation test also proves the feasibility and validity of this method.
