Kuangshan Hill within the boundary of Dakang Town of Jiangyou City was a very important place in Li Bai＇s life. The poet studied on the hill for 10 year when he was young. He learned yin and yang, Zong and Heng tcehniques from Zhao Rui, a wizard. After he mastered the techniques, Li Bai made farewell to his family and left hometown with a lofty aspiration of ＂rejuvenating the state and helping the people＂. Today, the reading platform, Kuangshan Academy, Taibai Trail and other traces of Li Bai still nestled on the luxuriantly green hill.
