摘要
作为一种学习方法,英语背诵应该得到提倡与运用。本文是一项有关大学生英语背诵情况问卷调查的研究报告。研究的问题是:(1)大学生是否背诵英语?(2)大学生是否认为背诵英语对提高英语水平具有促进作用?(3)大学教师是否要求学生背诵英语?根据调查的结果,我们得出的初步结论是:(1)经常背诵英语的大学生并不太多,而且主要是背诵单词和短语,较少背诵句子、对话或文章。(2)大学生认为背诵英语对提高英语水平具有促进作用。(3)大学教师较少要求学生背诵英语,而且主要是要求学生背诵单词和短语。
As a useful technique, recitation should be advocated and applied in English teaching and learning pracrice. This article is a report of a questionnaire survey on English recitation by Chinese college students. It was found that among the respondents to the questionnaire, the number of those who did a regular recitation was not very large and what they usually recited were words and phrases. Generally speaking, most of the respondents thought that recitation was useful for improving their English proficiency. Another finding was that college teachers did not often require the learners to recite, and words and phrases were the main targets for recitation requirement.
