摘要
近几年来,国外学术英语的教学与研究日渐兴旺。学术英语的产生与英语的使用在世界范围内的不断扩展有关,而学术英语作为一门学科的形成与发展与语言学尤其是应用语言学的发展密切相关。本文分析学术英语的成因、归类、特点与主张,就有关学术英语教学与研究的几个关键问题展开了讨论,并且试图归纳目前学术英语的研究动态。
In recent years EAP teaching and research has increasingly been a hot topic for study. The establishment and development of EAP is closely associated with the status of English as an international language. As a field of study, EAP is much influenced by linguistics and especially by applied linguistics. This paper analyzes the formation, classification, characteristics and claims of EAP. It also discusses some of the crucial issues of EAP and at the same time attempts to describe the present state and developing trend of EAP research.
