A group of articles on urban renewal-A subject worth paying attention and doing study was published in the first issue of City Planning Review. The purpose was to draw concern from the society based on the understanding for the achieved result in urban renewal in different angles. In this issue, we carried another group of articles, summing up the experience of the planning and design practice for urban renewal.The planners formulated the related area for study with newly approach, providing a planning guide for the rational urban renewal on the basis of the characteristics in each city'S old urban area.
