From May, 1988 to January 1989, 62 patients,among whom 27 were pathological proved breast cancer patients and 35 were normal comparable persons,were diagnosisedby micro-wave thermal radipmeter at our hospital.The diagnostic results were hopeful with true-positive rate 85% and false-negative rate15% in the 27 breast cancer patients. In the comparable group,true-negative rate was 86%and false-positive rate was 14%.
