摘要
研究了不同蛋白质含量对于甜菜夜蛾Spodoptera exigua(Hübner)幼虫生长发育和成虫繁殖力的影响。随着蛋白质含量的增加幼虫的历期明显缩短,存活率增加,繁殖力大幅度增高。更高的饲料蛋白质含量对幼虫的历期和存活率没有不利影响,但蛹重和成虫的产卵量下降。实验结果表明,食料蛋白质含量的增高对甜菜夜蛾的种群增长有促进作用,而蛋白质含量过高则对种群增长不利。
Artificial diets containing cellulose and yeast powder at different ratios to represent different levels of protein were use to feed beet armyworm ( Spodoptera exigua). Increase in protein concentration up to 70 g significantly shortened the larval period, improved larval survival and enhanced adult fecundity. A still higher protein concentration (87 g) had no adverse effect on larval period and larval survival, but resulted in reduction in pupa weight and female adult fecundity. These results suggest that moderate increase of protein concentration in the diet can promote the growth of population of this insect species higher too high a concentration is disadvantageous to the growth of its population.
