摘要
玉米螟是一种食性复杂、分布广泛、对农作物为害严重的世界性害虫。1985年以来,北疆玉米螟对玉米的危害日益加重,为了获得主动、有效的灭螟方法,1987～1989年在昌吉地区对玉米螟生物学特性和防治试验进行了初步的研究。
The corn borer (Ostrinta sp. complex) is one of the major pest insectes of grain crops in xinjiang. Based on the specimens collected in the field and reared in the laboratory, it was found that the dominant species in this Prefecture is Ostrinta jurnacalis Gucnee. Other borers of minor importance are O. Nubilalis Hubner, O.scapulalis (Walder) and O. narynensis Muturre & Munroe, which ususally occur together with the dominant species. This paper reports the preliminary studies on the bionomics and control measures of Ostrinta sp. comples in Changji Hui Aur. Pr. 1987～1989.
