摘要
多分辨率几何造型技术是处理复杂形体及场景的重要技术。介绍了基于小波分析的几何造型以及细分造型和网格化简三大类多分辨率几何造型方法。详细介绍了各种多分辨率造型技术的发展及应用。详细介绍了Catmull-Clark细分模式的公式、提升B样条小波分解与重构公式以及基于二次型的网格化简公式。最后对三大类造型方法各自的优缺点及相互关系进行了分析并说明了其发展方向。
Multi-resolution geometry modeling is an important technology which is often used to complex shape modeling. There are mainly three kinds of multi-resolution modeling methods: wavelets analysis, subdivision and mesh simplification. Catmull-Clark subdivision, lifting B-spline wavelet and quadric-based mesh simplification are described in detail. The relationship among these methods is analyzed. The advantage and disadvantage of each method are also discussed.
