摘要
硬件资源分配是数字系统硬件自动综合中的关键技术之一.本文提出了一个基于最佳匹配理论的资源分配算法(OMRA).其特点①三类硬件资源(功能单元、存储单元和互联资源)的分配同时进行,从而便于资源间的统筹考虑以获得硬件资源总开销最小的设计方案.②对工艺变化具备适应能力:工艺资源库发生变化,资源分配过程中将自动调整以保证产生在新的工艺环境下最佳的硬件结构设计.
In this paper, a new approach, optimal-matching-based resource allocation algorithm (OMRA) is presented. By OMRA, three types of resources used to construct data path are allocated simultaneously, and thus it's quite easier to make trade-off between different types of resources and so OMRA has a better chance to achive the minimal-cost hardware design. In addition, OMRA is adaptive to different technologies: if the technology environment changes, the allocation process will be automatically adjusted to produce a new data path which is optimal in the new environment.
