摘要
将原用于模拟脑部主要直观皮层中单细胞的GABOR函数用作眼部图像的滤波函数,可以快捷方便地从眼部图像中提取虹膜图像。实验表明,通过对该GABOR函数中相关参数的分析和优化,该方法能较好地将虹膜(纹理)与巩膜、虹膜与瞳孔进行分离,从而方便地实现虹膜提取,并能简化虹膜识别系统的程序,提高其处理速度。
In order to extract the iris patterns from an eye picture quickly and conveniently, the Gabor function which is formerly used to simulate the simple cells in primary visual cortex is adopted as an eye picture filter function. Through analysing and optimizing the related function parameters, this method can distinguish the iris texture from sclera texture, and distinguish the iris texture from the pupil texture much better. Therefore the iris texture extraction can be implemented conveniently. The procedure of the iris recognition system are be simplified, as a result, its processing sveed can be improved.
