摘要
外向型汉英词典的编写目的是为了把汉语作为外语供外国使用者学习和应用，因此，编写者在编写过程中应坚持汉语为本位的编纂原则，充分考虑到汉语奉身的特点，向外国学习者译介汉语知识及其蕴含汉语中的文化和语用信息。从而使外国学习者能较好地理解和使用汉语。但是目前无论是国内还是国外的汉英词典在这些方面皆有偏颇，德范克的《ABC汉英大词典）过于考虑了汉英词典的外国使用群体，其编排方法完全以拉丁字母顺序编排，这种排列割裂了汉语词语间的内在联系，而以《汉英词典》为代表的国内汉英词典则过于注重汉语间的关联，而忽视了外向型的特点，这在一定程度上影响了外国使用者对汉英词典的有效使用。为解决这些这些问题，本文就外向型汉英词典的编写提供一些看法，以期在实际编纂过程中能有所帮助。
The making of foreign-oriented Chinese-English dictionaries aims to provide a tool for language learners, Dictionary-makers should be Chinese-centred in making such dictionaries. It is advised that they pay due attention to the characteristics of the Chinese language, and introduce to the foreign readers the relevant knowledge and the cultural and pragmatic information embedded in the Chinese language, for the purpose that the foreign readers could understand and use the language better. Unfortunately, the existing dictionaries at home and abroad take preference to such perspectives. The ABC Chinese-English Dictionary pays too much attention to the foreign readers, the headwords in which are arranged alphabetically. Such arrangement ripped the internal relations between the Chinese headwords. The Chinese-English Dictionary, typical of the sort at home, neglects the foreign-orientedness while laying too much emphasis on the internal relations, thus hindering the effective use on the part of the foreign readers. Serving as a solution to such problems, this thesis provides practical views concerning the making of foreign-oriented Chinese-English dictionaries, thus to serve as a help in the practical compilation.
