摘要
自1969年Inoue用ZnEt2/H2O的混合物作催化剂由二氧化碳与环氧化物合成聚碳酸酯以来,化学家们在催化剂体系的设计与合成方面进行了大量研究。目前,这条合成聚碳酸酯的绿色合成路线已日渐成熟。本文综述了近5年来环氧化物与二氧化碳反应合成聚碳酸酯的研究成果,主要考察催化剂的催化活性对共聚反应的影响以及反应机理研究。
Since the discovery of catalysts for the copolymerization of carbon dioxide and 1, 2-epoxides in the late 1960' s by Inoue, the design and synthesis of the efficient catalysts for the selective coupling of 1,2-epoxides and carbon dioxide to afford biodegradable copolymers have made significant gains. It is becoming increasingly clear that this "greener" route to polycarbonates is potential to be supplement to or even supplant current processes for the production of these important thermoplastics, which involve the polymerization of diols and phosgene or organic carbonates. In addition, there is a growing demand for biodegradable polymeric materials. Polycarbonates made from carbon dioxide and 1, 2-epoxide have the potential to meet these goals. This review summarizes the polycarbonate synthesis by the copolymerization of 1,2-epoxide and carbon dioxide in the last five years, especially the mechanism and the effects of catalytic activity on the copolymerization.
