摘要
基于硫酸介质中,在溴化钾催化作用下,碘酸根氧化甲基橙褪色作用,据此建立了测定碘的动力学光度法.结果表明,最大吸收波长为507 nm时,碘酸钾浓度在0~1.6 mg/L内呈线性关系,表观摩尔吸收系数为9.17×104 L*mol-1cm-1.方法用于加碘盐中碘(V)的测定,结果令人满意.
A kinetic spectophtometric method for the determination of iodine is proposed. The method is based on the discoloring reaction of methyl orange oxidized by iodate, which is catalyzed by potassium bromide in the sulfuric acid solution. When the biggest absorption wave length is 507nm the concentration iodine(V) in 0-1.6mg/L shows the linear relations and the coefficient of molar absorptivety is 9.17×10^4. The application of this method to analysis of iodine in salt sample gives encouragiving result.
