摘要
云南多民族长期共生现象产生于云南特殊的地理环境和历史上中国中原政权针对云南的特殊环境和民族地区社会经济状况采取的地方民族自治政策。民族区域自治是维护多民族共存的基本制度。
Reasons for coexistent phenomenon of multi-ethnic groups in Yunnan lie in the unique geographic environment and the policy of local ethnical autonomy adopted by central dynasties of past ages according to the environment and the situations of social and economic development of ethnic groups. The policy of regional ethnical autonomy has proved to be the basic system that is favorable to the coexistence of ethnic groups.
