摘要
委婉语是各种语言中普遍存在的一种语言现象。作者从委婉语的定义出发,列举了委婉语在几个方面的应用,并指出在适当的场合恰当地使用委婉语,可以起到意想不到的效果。
Euphemism is a nomenon in various common linguistic phelanguages. Starting from the definition of euphemism, the author gaveus some examples of its usage in some aspects. If euphemism is properly used in an appropriate occasion, the author pointed out, some unexpected effects can be obtained.
