摘要
脑源性神经营养因子(BDNF)支持多种神经元的生存、发育和分化。在基因转录水平,野生型huntingtin和突变型huntingtin有区别地调节BDNF的表达,以及BDNF的轴突转运功能发生障碍,使亨廷顿病患者和模型动物脑内BDNF减少,导致纹状体神经元的丢失。BDNF可以保护纹状体的易感性神经元,但是将BDNF用于治疗HD还存在许多困难。
