摘要 通过求解金属表面的麦克斯韦方程,证明了光波不能直接激发表面等离体子波.介绍了Otto装置和Kretschmann装置,这两种装置可利用光波全反射时产生的倏逝波激发表面等离体子波,给出了这两种装置中棱镜和介质的相对电容率关系以及对中间层厚度的要求. The Maxwell's equations are solved on the metallic surface, and the reason why light can not excite the surface plasmons directly is explained. Otto configuration and Kretschmann configuration are introduced, with which the surface plasmons could be excited by the evanescent wave of incident light, and in these two configurations the relationship of dielectric functions of prism and the medium and the requirement of middle layer thickness are presented.
