摘要
在近代,侨汇为江门五邑侨乡重要的经济命脉,曾有“四邑侨汇为粤省冠”之说。从定量、定性两方面辨析此说的历史内涵,可以窥测四邑侨汇所包蕴的文化价值。
In modem times, immigrant remittances were the economic lifeblood of Jiangmen Wuyi, and so there was the statement that “Siyi＇ （Four Counties） immigrant remittances ranked first in Guangdong Province”. Qualitative and quantitative analyses of the historical content of the statement can reveal the cultural value contained in the immigrant remittances in Siyi areas.
