摘要
随着高等教育规模的持续扩大和高等教育体制改革的不断深入,高等学校办学工作面临着许多新情况、新问题;广东高等教育已经从落后于全国的发展水平逐步居于全国前列,教育质量和科研水平逐步提高;地方高校及高职院校在推进广东高等教育改革和发展进程中做出了贡献。进一步发展广东高等教育,应该坚持科学发展观,切实进行结构调整;必须做到均衡发展;坚持宏观调控公平对待;地方高校、高职院校要主动应对挑战。
The scale of higher education has being expanded continuously, and the higher education system reformation has being penetrated into new stages. Guangdong has made significant achievements in higher education and has vaulted into the front rank in China. Regional universities and occupational and poly-technic colleges are playing an important role in facilitating higher education evolution in Guangdong. Education in Guangdong is still an under-cultivated land. However, under the scientific development view, practical structure adjustment and macro-regulation, higher education in Guangdong have adequate reasons to reply the challenges, and achieve a premier position in China.
