稀土对SiO_2碳热还原氮化制备Si_3N_4机理研究

Influence of RE Addition on the Mechanism of Synthesis Si_3N_4 from Silica Reduction by Carbon in Nitrogen Atmosphere

摘要 研究了不同稀土氧化物添加剂对SiO2碳热还原氮化制备Si3N4粉料作用机理。结果表明,稀土氧化物(La2O3、CeO2、Y2O3、La2O3+Y2O3等)添加剂促进氮化,且制备的Si3N4粉料,颗粒细,含α-Si3N4较高,是一种有开发前景的添加剂。 The mechanism for the effect of RE oxide additions on the Si3N4 powder formation by carbon reducing silica in nitrogen atmosphere was investigated. The results show that RE oxide addition,such as La2O3, CeO2 , Y2O3, La2O3+Y2O3 and so on, be classed with the first group of additions,made the liquid formation temperature in the Si-RE-O-N system being higher than its nitriding temperature and accelerated the rate of nitridation by the REn+ intreduced into Si-O network and made the nitriding time shortented more than 1/3. These RE oxide additions are satisfactory for prepareing superfine Si3N4 powder containing higher α- phase, they are one kind of additions within prospect.
