After the 90s, novels of Li Rui and Han Shaogong which deal with the Culture Revolution reflect the history from the view of civilians. These novels have double meanings., th, e civilian misery and ethic deconstructed the high-tone of the Culture Revolution ideology; at the same time the blindness of the civilians provided the foundation and the support for the autarchy in the Culture Revolution. So the narration of the Culture Revolution breaks through the limitation of the moralism and didacticism in 80s, which reveals the complexity and diversity of the history of that period. To restore the survivorship of the bottom of the society with honesty and reason, some of the intellectuals try to find and build an effective way to the spiritual end-result.
