摘要
从“选择就是意义”的原则出发,对勃朗宁的《我的前公爵夫人》在功能语法范围内从两个层面(词,小句)摘取了人称代词、时态、经验过程三个方面进行了分析,从而使读者可以从另外一个更为客观科学的角度欣赏这首经久不衰的优美诗歌。
Different from the traditional point of view in appreciating literature, the paper, starting with the principle “Choice is meaningful”, has analyzed My Last Duchess by Robert Browning from the point of view of functional grammar in three aspects： pronouns, tenses, experiential function so that readers may appreciate the everlasting poem from a more objective and scientific angle.
