摘要
尽管《新视野大学英语》之音标系统是现行的国际音标系统,但是它仅标注英式发音是有失偏颇的,个别的发音甚至是错误的。本文作者对该教材的标音原则以及New W ords一栏的编写目的提出了质疑,并指出了教材中存在的少量错误。
Although the transcription system of New Horizon College English is the current IPA（ International Phonetic Alphabet） system, it＇ s not a good way to transcribe only the British pronunciation, one or two even wrongly transcribed. The author of this paper doesn＇t think the transcription principle is positive and doubts the original target of the column of New Words has been reached. A few mistakes concerning other aspects in this textbook are also discussed.
