The living space for animals is being shrunk in the process of space expanding for human activities. This controversy, however, is well dealt with in the Banff National Park through wildlife crossing structures. Wildlife crossing structures should be laid out with certain rules and certain requirements are needed to decide which form is to be used. The environments inside and outside the structures must be according with animals' movement traits. Besides, road fences should protect and conform to animals' behaviors. All of these will be illustrated in the Banff's case.
