水族古文字沿用至今,具有深厚的精神依托和底蕴支撑。现在,水族古文字在水族社会中,仍然具有神圣而崇高的地位,人们都不能跨之、坐之、踩之。
The Shui people continue to practice an ancient system of writing steeped in centuries of tradition. Use of Shui script in Shui society today remains sacred;not even scrap paper should be stepped over,sat on or tread on.
