摘要
傅云龙是晚清时代一位阅历非凡、著述丰硕的人物,是中国近代首次通过公开选拔公派出国游历官员之一。曾奉派游历日本、美国、加拿大、古巴、秘鲁、巴西六国,撰写《游历图经》等一百多卷研究外国的著作,在促进中国人认识外面世界和中外文化交流方面作出了诸多贡献。但终究没被清政府重用在外交工作上,他的事迹也鲜为人知。本文将其人及其著述作一介绍,以方便更多的学者对他的研究,填补近代史的一些空白。
Fu yunlong,with extraordinarily experience and plentiful writings in latter Qing dynasty time, was one of the first government-sponsored go-abroad-travels officials be selected publicly in Chinese modern times. Ordered to go to travel to Japan, USA, Canada, Cuba, Peru, and Brazil six countries. Once, he composed more than 100 volumes of works about studying foreign country like “the Experience of Travels” and so on. Although he had made many contributions on promoting the Chinese to know the outside world and cultural exchange between the Chinese and foreign country, he did not be employed in the diplomatic work at high levels by the Qing dynasty government and thus his fact is also rarely known. This article aims to introduce him and his writings to facilitate more scholars to study on it and to fill the gaps in modern history.
