摘要
该虚拟旅游模块在WebGIS开发的西安旅游信息系统的基础上,应用虚拟现实技术I、nternet技术为技术支持,利用VRML2.0进行界面开发.实现了非投入式虚拟效果,使用户从视觉和听觉上对产生的虚拟旅游景区有立体的直观感觉,不需使用电子手套和头盔,只需借助VRML浏览器和其他WebGIS软件就可使用户在分布式非投入虚拟环境交互对话,并获得接近现实的旅游信息.该模块实现了信息查询、用户交互功能、数据量测及地学数据显示功能,为投入式虚拟旅游打下了基础.
In this paper, we debate the feasibility of the virtual tour. The virtual tour module, one module of Xi' an tourism resources information system based on WebGIS, is sustained by the technology of virtual reality and Internet and exploited by VRML 2.0. It makes users operate conveniently to improve the efficiency of the whole system by offering various natural sensible ways, like vision, listening. Users needn' t input commands by typing any more. Non-immersing distributed virtual tour module needn't use electronic gloves and helmet. Users can interact in distributed non-immerslng virtual environment and acquire tourist information proximate to reality only by means of VRML observer and WebGIS software. This module will have the following functions: inquiring tourist attractions, interacting among users, data measuring and showing geography data so as to make good foundation for immersing virtual tour.
