摘要
本文通过对叙述者、人物与隐含作者之间复杂关系的考察,揭示纳博科夫在处理叙述者问题时的独到之处。纳博科夫的不可靠叙述者不能简单地归入智力低下或道德败坏者之列。他的不可靠叙述者凭借着与人物的高度相似性,用高超的叙述策略来左右读者。看起来简单的《普宁》需要读者精细的阅读。
Through an examination of the complex relationship between the narrator, the characters, and the behind-the-scene author, this paper attempts to uncover the uniqueness of Nabokov in handling his narrator. Nabokov＇ s unreliable narrator can hardly be included in the category of the retardates or the morally corrupted. Instead, he leads the readers by the nose through his high similarity to the characters and a superb narrative strategy. Easy as it seems, Pnin asks for our intensive reading.
