摘要
现代意义上的异域小说,是与近代异域观念的形成密切相关的.现代作家更多地把一种深广凝重的文化心理内蕴贯注到了异域想像之中.他们在想像西方的过程中始终不能忘怀自己背后的祖国,其构造的西方镜像也更多地折射出复杂矛盾的文化心理人格;与之形成对照的是,他们总是把浪漫瑰丽的异域情调与中国以外的"东方"异域想像扭结在一起.
The foreign imagination created in classical Chinese fiction was always imbued with an odd and uncivilized atmosphere, differing vastly from what it is in those countries related. However, modern Chinese writers have attached more cultural and psychological connotation to their foreign imagination. Never negligent of their own countries behind when imagining the occidental countries, they have formed images more of their own complex, and contradictory personalities relating to culture and psychology are reflected. Just contrary to their occidental imagination, they tend to tangle up a superb and romantic foreign flavor with the imagination about the oriental areas outside China, thus demonstrating a compar- atively calm and peaceful cultural mind behind their romantic taste.
