摘要
朝鲜战争期间,杜鲁门为了避免美苏、美中冲突及其扩大化,防止台湾“陷落”以及盟国分裂,加上不信任蒋介石及其军队的作用,故而拒绝蒋介石“出兵”朝鲜的请求。
During the Korean War, Harry S. Truman declined Chiang Kai - shek＇s request to dispatch troops to Korea for the reasons as follows： to avoid expansion of conflicts between the U. S. and Soviet Union, and that between U. S. and P. R. C. ; to prevent Taiwan from being captured by the PLA, and the split of the allied countries; his suspicion on the performance of Chiang Kai - shek＇s troops.
