An Improved Synthesis of 2,2-Diethoxypropane by Using Triethyl Orthofomate

摘要 以原甲酸三乙酯为解水试剂,以氯化铵为催化剂,由无水乙醇和丙酮缩合制得丙酮缩二乙醇。通过单因素条件实验方法考察该反应,得到了适宜的工艺条件:丙酮26g(0.45mol),原甲酸三乙酯74 g(0.5mol),乙醇75mL,氯化铵0.72g(0.0135mol),回流下反应3h,收率为77.5%。 2,2-Diethoxypropane was prepared by acetone and anhydrous alcohol under triethyl orthoformate as dehydration agent and ammonium chloride as catalyst. Effects of reaction condition on the condenstion were investigated, according to the method of single factor test. The preferably condition was that acetone 26 g (0. 45 mol), triethyl orthofomate 74g (0.50 mol), alcohol 75mL and ammonium chloride 0.72 g were reacted under reflux for 3 h. The yield was 77.5%.
