摘要
A manganese coordination polymer [(phen)MnCl2]n (phen=1,10-phenanthroline, C12H8N2) with formula C12H8Cl2MnN2 and Mr=306.04 has been synthesized and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal is of monoclinic, space group C2/c with a=17.2451 (10), b=10.4431 (8), c=7.0349(5)A°, β= 111.983(1)°, V=1174.82(14) A°^3, Z=4, Dc=1.730 g/cm^3, μ=1.552 mm^-1, F(000)=612, T=293(2) K, R=0.0343 and wR=0.0877 for 826 observed reflections with I〉2σ(I). The title compound possesses a one-dimensional chain structure composed of polymeric (phen)MnCl2 units in which the manganese (Ⅱ) ion is chelated by one phen and bridged by double chloro-ligands with the Mn-N distance of 2.257(3)A° and Mn-Cl of 2.4775(8) and 2.6568(7)A°. The Mn…Mn separation is 3.853A°.
