摘要
声调是汉藏语系语言普遍具有的语音特征。声调的分化与合并类型往往因语言或方言的不同而异,因此具有语言或方言分类的意义。本文拟描述和归纳汉藏语系民族语言声调分化与合并的类型,并对四声八调型声调产生的语言发生学机制和语言接触机制做一些初步的评价。
Tone is a common phonological feature of Sino-Tibetan languages. The splitting and merger of tone categories vary among languages or dialects. Hence, it can contribute to the typological classification of languages or dialects. This paper describes and summarizes the different types of tonal division and unification among Sino-Tibetan languages. It also gives preliminary comments on the genetic and language contact mechanisms of the tonogenesis of the “four categories with eighttones” style.
