摘要
通过对3个不同样品中的电气石颗粒进行蚀刻,详细探讨了电气石裂变径迹的最佳蚀刻条件。实验结果表明,当用40%的HF在35℃下蚀刻30min或用KOH在40℃蚀刻20min时,在显微镜下都可在平行于矿物c轴的晶面方向上观察到裂变径迹。
Through making a series of experiments on the etching of three different samples of tourmaline, we have probed the best etching conditions of this mineral. It is shown that when the sample is etched either with 40% HF at 35℃ for 30 min or with KOH at 40℃ for 20 min, fission tracks can be obviously seen on the plane of the mineral which is parallel to the c axis under optical microscope.
