摘要
莱斯特.布朗的生态经济理论在当今世界上影响巨大,他提出了人类经济摆脱目前困境走向可持续发展道路的具体方案:彻底改变经济凌驾生态的经济指导思想,向在能源基础、材料来源、产业结构和城市型式都发生根本变革的新型经济迈进,政府利用财政政策手段作为推动现行经济向生态经济过渡的杠杆。布朗关注中国的现代化经济建设,提出了西方工业发展的模式不适用于中国的思想。
Lester Brown＇s ecological economics theory has influenced a lot in the present world. It proposed concrete plans for human economy to get rid of confronted predicament and develop sustainedly： to utterly change the guiding economic principle that economy is above ecology, advance towards a new economy in which fundamental changes will take place in energy basis, resources of materials, industrial structure and the pattern of cities, governments use fiscal methods as a lever to speed up the transition from current economy to the new economy. Brown is much concerned about the modernization in China, he holds that the mode of industrialization in Western countries is not applicable to China.
