摘要
信息社会的文盲不再是不识字的人，而是不会信息技术的人。现代信息技术可以为英语教学提供一个尽可能真实的语言环境，使得教学成为师生互动、人与电脑互动的过程。因此，教师的信息素养就成为信息时代改革外语教学、提高外语教学质量的关键。
Illiteracy in information society doesn＇t mean lack of ability to read and write but unable to use modern information technology. Modern information technology may provide English teaching with likeliest authentic language surroundings, which makes teaching an interactive process between teacher and students and computer. Teachers＇ information literacy, therefore, makes the key to the reform of foreign language teaching and to the improvement of foreign language teaching quality.
