摘要
虽然人们对世界荒诞性有意识、自觉地表现开始于20世纪的现代社会,但是早在19世纪上半叶,美国作家爱伦·坡即在他的小说中,通过表现人格的分裂、人性的孤独和死亡的恐怖等主题,深刻表达了人与世界的疏离和现实的荒诞这一主题,并对世界现代文学发展产生了广泛而深远的影响。
The public didn't consciously realize the absurdity of the world until the modern society in 20th century. Edgar Allan Poe as early as the first half of 19th century,had revealed in depth the alienation between individuals and the society and the absurdity of social reality through the topics of split personality,loneliness in human nature as well as the horror of death,which produce great influence on the modern literature.
