摘要
本文在研究国内外道路交通安全评价方法的基础上，运用灰色系统理论建立了宏观道路交通安全灰色评价方法。适合我国交通管理特点，筛选了宏观道路交通安全评价指标，标定了阈值，并对５省市的交通安全水平进行了比较研究。
Based on the researches of evaluation methods in China and abroad aboutroad traffic safety,the gray evaluation method of macroscopic road traffic safety is set upwith the gray theory in the paper. By integrating the principle of theory and practice,theevaluation indexes were selected and threshold values were determined.The evaluatinons ofroad traffic safety in 1991 in Beijing,Jilin,Hebei,Henan,and Jiangsu were studied and com-pared one another.
