摘要
提出了用磷酸三苯酯作为附加物来提高冷硬树脂砂机械性能的新工艺,测定了磷酸二苯脂对冷硬树脂砂的强化作用及对冷硬树脂砂性能的影响规律,探讨了该附加物对冷硬树脂砂的强化机理。
The cold-setting resin binder bonded sand finds widespread use in the world. In China,such use met with considerable difficulties such as high cost and low quality of casting. Wesucceed in lowering the cost of casting and improving its quality, and our research results arepresented in this paper.The key to our success is the addition of an additive to cold-setting resin binder. Ittakes much hard work to find this additive--triphenyl phosphate--out of many possibleones. With the addition of 7wt% of this additive, tensile strength of cold--setting resin sandis enhanced by 80% ̄120%, and the amout of cold-setting resin binder needed can be reduced from 2. 5wt % to 1. 5wt % (thus cost is much reduced). Moreover, quality of casting isimproved becanus less gas is formed and because the resin sand yields more easily' The mainreason why the resin sand is strengthened by triphenyl phosphate lies in that fracture appearance of the resin film changes from brittle fracture to tenacious one.At present, this new additive method is used in the achual production of more than 100kinds of castings, and reduction in cost and improvement of quality are actually achieved.
