摘要
回顾石油化工技术进步的历史,技术进步有二类:一类是在原有技术基础上的连续式技术进步;另一类是另辟蹊径,转移到一个全新科学知识基础上的非连续式技术进步。从技术进步的推动力──环保要求、市场需要、原料变化等,展望到21世纪初,国外和国内石化工业中炼油、基本有机原料、合成树脂等方面的这二类技术进步,最后探索了加强定向性基础研究的问题。
The historical reviews reveal that the advance of petrochemical technology has beenaccomplished through two different types of progress in nature: the continuous incremental progress on thebasis of the original technology and the discontinuous progress based on entirely new scientific and/or technological knowledge which often leads to a revolutionary technological breakthrough. The present paperforecasts the technological advances towards the '21st century in the areas of petroleum refining, fundamental organic chemical raw materials and synthetic resins, based on either continuous increment41progress or discontinuous progress, from the view point of driving forces for the technology advancementand innovation, such as enviromental requirements, market demands, and utilization of more cost--effectiveraw materials, etc. The possible technological revolution achieved through the discoveries in Directed BasicResearch is also discussed.
