THERMAL DERORMATION MODEL AND NUMBERICA CALCULATION OF THE METAL RESONATOR MIRROR OF A HIGH POWER LASER

摘要 建立了高功率连续激光器全反腔镜的热变形模型,并用有限差分法对镜内的温度场分布及热变形做了数值计算,得出了全反腔镜热变形和反射镜厚度及半径的一般关系,计算了反射镜因冷却水压产生的压力变形,并与热变形做了比较,计算结果和实验数据符合得很好。 AbstractIn the high power laser device,the deformation of the metal resonator reflection mirrorwill affect the output beam quality of the device greatly.The thermal deformation model of themetal mirror of a high power laser resonator is made out in this paper.The thermaldeformation is calculated using the finite difference method.The pressure deformation producedby cooling water is calculated too.Through the calculating,we obtain the distribution of thethermal field in the nurror which is incident by a Guassian beam(Fig.2)and the thermaldeformation of the mirror has been shown in Fig.2 too. The curves of the thermal deformation ofthe mirror as a function of its radius or thickness has been obtained and shown in Fig,3a andFig.3b.According to the calculation result,the thermal deformation of the mirror increaseslinearly with the thickness increasing of the nllrror but does not change with the radiuschanging of the mirror when the incidental power is a consistent. However,the deformationcaused by cooling water pressure is greater than the deformation caused by temperatureincreasing.The changing trends of these two deformations are opposite to each other,so we canchoose a proper size of the mirror to make the deformation sum achieve a minimum value.Thecalculation value has been compared with the experimental result.Two results agree with eachother very much.
