加速器中水流量对加速管温度分布及其瞬态响应的影响

摘要 加速器中水流量通过影响加速管壁温的分布与变化而对加速器的使用性能产生影响.而水流量又是使用中最容易控制的参量,因此,为使加速器得到较好的使用性能,水流量的合理选择是应该考虑的.为此,探讨水流量对加速管温度的影响就成为必要.本文详细讨论了水流量(及加速器的某些结构参量)对加速管温度的有关参量的影响并归结为某些简单的拟合公式以便实用中大致估算.文中并就不同冷却模式作了对比. in the actual practice of an electron linac, the rate of water flow would frequently determine the temperature differences and the deformations of the accelerating tube, and would finally influence the energy of electron beem and the time constant of temperature transitions. Moreover, as the water flow may be easily controlled, it is probable to obtain a good quality of the linac by using suitable amount of water now. It seems therefore necessary to have a detailed study of the influence of water flow (and some related factors of the structure of the linac) on the distribution and transition of the temperature in the application of the linac.On the basis of researches in references [1,2], this paper gives further discussions about the relations of the indicative factors distribution,the instontaneous response of the temperature of the accelerating tube on the one hand with the rate of water flow and the characteristic constants of the structure of the linac on the other. Some simple approximate formulas showing those relations q uantitatively are proposed which would be useful to make a rough estimate in practice. Ti also makes a comparison between differellt cooling modes. By the dicussions above, if would be feasible to choose the suitable value ott rate of water flow for requirements under various conditions of a linac.
